After implementing a ploop image based backup procedure like described in:
http: //openvz.org/Ploop/Backup
i wonder about restoring this backup - in the copy of the VE_PRIVATE directory tree is not only the root.hdd disk container but also the newly created root.hdd.{23e58b5d-0c27-448c-a0ed-8163998258e4} delta. Also the Snapshots.xml and DiskDescriptor.xml contain information about the open dirty delta - but i want to restore to the snapshot - which is a consistent clean backup. I can mount the root.hdd - but to use the vzctl tools i need valid DiskDescriptor.xml without the snapshot info. Is there a corresponding doc for restore to the above doc which perfectly describes backup but not restore?
