Hi All:

Under the "Software Updates" section of http://openvz.org/Main_Page, it lists the following:

Templates update: CentOS 7 final 09 Jul 2014

But, if you click on the link (it points to: https://wiki.openvz.org/Download/template/precreated), it still shows CentOS 7 under the Beta section (although the templates seem to have been updated on 2014-07-08 at 20:47)

1) Should these templates move from Beta to the first table (I assume that first table is "official", but it is not labeled as such)

2) Is there any type of change management done on the updated template, so that we know what changed in them?

thanks,

Paul

Beta in this case refers to the template itself, not to the status of the OS.

So, this is final release of CentOS, but the template hasn't been tested enough yet. The template will move out of beta eventually, what you can do in the mean time is test it and report any issues to openvz bugzilla.
