Hi,

When did the kernel repo change?

We used to use:
download.openvz.org/kernel/rhel5/

This no longer works.

I know this URL works, but when did it change from:
download.openvz.org/kernel/rhel5/

to:

download.openvz.org/kernel/branches/rhel5-2.6.18/

I need to be sure when it changed and was it reported anywhere?

I have file with date 2009 and there is

#baseurl= http://download.openvz.org/kernel/branches/rhel5-2.6.18/curr ent/
mirrorlist=http://download.openvz.org/kernel/mirrors-rhel5-2.6.18

so I don't think it changed.

what exactly problem do you have??

We run a local repo, and this is the URL we have for the openvz kernels:
download.openvz.org/kernel/rhel5/

I know this doesn't work, as I can't browse this URL.

However, we had the Openvz kernel updates recently.

I'm trying to find out how we were able to get these updates to our local repo if the URL is wrong.

you are doing something wrong.

i you want, run local mirror and use http://[localmirror.address]/openVZ/[whatever.you.want]

Hi,

I didn't set this up, and I'm kind of reluctant to change things until I understand how it's currently working.

The repo's listed are:

### OpenVZ repositories
ovzkernel = download.openvz.org/kernel/rhel5/
ovztemplate = download.openvz.org/template/
ovzutils = download.openvz.org/utils/

Now I know this works, I know this because I get emailed when packages are downloaded and thre fact we have had recent openvz kernel updates.

I'm just struggling to understand how we were able to get these updates when the repo looks wrong.

So, I'm wondering if this link used to work and recently stopped working.
