According to " http://openvz.org/news/updates/rhel4-kernel-2.6.9-023stab016 .2" kernel 2.6.9-023stab016.2 has the same functionality and feature set as base RHEL4u4 beta kernel (2.6.9-39.EL).

The last stable kernel of RedHat 4 is kernel-2.6.9-42.0.2. What regularity you will update kernel of RedHat with openvz code?

Thanks
Pepe

Hello,

About same functionality.
OpenVZ kernel based on rhel4 and rhel4 kernel have
different config now. It means, for example,
that some drivers that persist in rhel4 kernel are not in OpenVZ
kernel. Such situation is for example with ATM:
http://bugzilla.openvz.org/show_bug.cgi?id=250.
But this difference between configs is temporary. In the very
near future config files will be the same, thus at the moment all differences are considered as a bug.
