I just got a new server, a Single Xeon E31230 4-cores @ 3.20Ghz. I wanted to compare it to my older server, a Dual Xeon E5335 @ 2.00GHz. Assuming the CPU's perform reasonably similar "per tick" the new server should be about 20% slower than the old - 12.8GHz total for the new vs. 16.0GHz for the old. So I was somewhat surprised when vzcpucheck showd the new to be about 50% faster than the old:

New: Power of the node: 1276960
Old: Power of the node: 805410

Is this for real, or is vzcpucheck just throwing up a random number used for comparisons on the hwnode?
