I found that IPtraf does not work with VEs. Anyone know how to make it work? Thanks

Cheers

1) what for do you plan to use it inside VEs?
2) could you strace it and attach output here?

Like 99% of any network application out there, it will try to monitor the network interface eth0. However, in your VPS there is no such interface- instead there is venet0. You will need to replace eth0 with venet0. If the program has no way to specify, try to grep for "eth0" or "eth" in the source code to see if it is hard coded.
