Hello,
I've one vps limited to 14% but seems it's using a lot more resources:

[root@host0 ~]# vzlist 135 -o laverage,cpuunits,cpulimit
LAVERAGE CPUUNI CPULIM
32.08/58.30/30.04 17857 14

Is it a bug or my mistake?

Thanks in advance,

What value makes you think the cpu usage is more than 14% of the HN's power?

The host node loads are about 32% with all other vps at 0% load

disregard the load value in this case. its not a metric that can be converted to cpu usage. load is basically the number of processes which are waiting for cpu time. instead you should look at /proc/vz/vestat to see cpu usage / cpu time per ve (check other threads for info here).

It's working, tks Smile
PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
26709 root 25 0 1936 960 284 R 10.6 0.0 0:07.00 cpuburn-in
26708 root 25 0 1936 960 284 R 10.2 0.0 0:07.04 cpuburn-in

But since i've limited it to 19% (392Mhz) shouldn't i get something like:
processor : 1
vendor_id : GenuineIntel
cpu family : 15
model : 6
model name : Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 2.80GHz
stepping : 4
cpu MHz : 532

Instead of
processor : 1
vendor_id : GenuineIntel
cpu family : 15
model : 6
model name : Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 2.80GHz
stepping : 4
cpu MHz : 2815.033

No you shouldn't! Smile
/proc/cpuinfo shows only information about real hardware processor(s). Its power is devided between VPSs in accordance with your settings.
