Hello Guys,

I have updated kernel 2.6.32-042stab127.2 in two of my servers. One server is showing the result as patch is applied and another server with same kernel doesn't show the information.

====
1, Ist server

rpm -q --changelog kernel | egrep 'CVE-2017-5715|CVE-2017-5753|CVE-2017-5754' --> shows information like following

- [include] linux/const.h: Add _BITUL() and _BITULL() (Waiman Long) [1519799 1519802] {CVE-2017-5754}
- [include] linux/mmdebug.h: add VM_WARN_ON() and VM_WARN_ON_ONCE() (Waiman Long) [1519799 1519802] {CVE-2017-5754}
- [include] stddef.h: Move offsetofend() from vfio.h to a generic kernel header (Waiman Long) [1519799 1519802] {CVE-2017-5754}

2, Second server

rpm -q --changelog kernel | egrep 'CVE-2017-5715|CVE-2017-5753|CVE-2017-5754' --> doesn't show anything

rpm -q --changelog vzkernel

"kernel" - is for CentOS/RHEL/etc stock kernels
"vzkernel" is for Virtuozzo/OpenVZ kernel

Another thing - i personally hate using unclear reference "kernel/vzkernel".
Use full package name + version vzkernel-2.6.32-042stab120.11.x86_64 or whatever you need.

If your problem is solved - please, report it!
It's even more important than reporting the problem itself...
