Hello!

I would like to know more about how memory dump works. I am using CentOS 6 with last kernel. If I understand correctly, when I create a dump it will be consider "iolimits" and "iopslimit", also VSwap dump will be slow. (VSwap rate limit set in the kernel and is 100 Mb/s)

I noticed that in the init script for vz service when VPS stops it is reset "iolimit" and "iopslimit", that makes it faster, and this is using only for the stop command, although it might also help for suspend command. But I'm more interested VSwap because iolimit does not apply to it.

Is it possible to disable VSwap limitation while dumping? After all, with 1GB of swap we have to wait extra 10 seconds.

Thanks.
