Hi,

I have run into a showstopping issue using proxmox 3.2 and openvz

It seems I am running into this one:
https .... bugzilla.openvz.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3012

live migration fails if I migrate from an older
- Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5680 @ 3.33GHz
to a newer
- Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2690 0 @ 2.90GHz

as described in the last post of this thread:
http ... forum.proxmox.com/archive/index.php/t-12278.html

are there any workarounds ?

This is a real pity as everything else works just wonderful.

vzmigrate -v -f --online hostnode ctid
------------------------
vzmigrate -h
-f, --nodeps[=<check>[,<check> ...]]
Continue migration, ignoring some or all preliminary check failures.
Particular checks can be ignored by providing an argument to
--nodeps option. The following options can be used (comma-separated):
          * cpu - ignore cpu capabilities check
          * ipv6        - ignore ipv6 module check
