I wanted to let people know that you can get ZOL (ZFS on Linux) to work with OpenVZ and that its quite easy to setup. I have been running OpenVZ VE's on ZOL (ZFS on Linux) now for over 12 months in a production environment without any problems.

This gives OpenVZ the benefits of ZFS - compression, L2ARC Cache (SSD read cache), ZIL (SSD write cache), snapshotting.....and all the other benefits of a copy-on-write filesystem.
