Hi,

When I'm trying to reboot my VPS (CLI: # reboot) it's just shutting down and not coming back. This was working fine before updates on the host:

- vzctl-core-4.0-1.x86_64
- vzctl-4.0-1.x86_64

I found this user guide (page 71):

- but I'm not sure if this is still valid.

OS: CentOS 6.3
Kernel: 2.6.32-042stab061.2

vzeventd is running ?

Plz check:

# /etc/init.d/vzeventd status
vzeventd (pid <PID_NO>) is running...

or

# pidof vzeventd
<PID_NO>

It looks like it's running:

# pidof vzeventd

One known issue is with Fedora 17 container, see http://bugzilla.openvz.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2336

I've actually tested with Debian and CentOS so it's not related to specific distro.
