Hello,
If possible, could the e1000e driver be updated in the OVZ kernel? It appears that CentOS 6.2 kernel uses 1.4.4, and OVZ uses 1.2.20. I see a bug (as do others) where the NIC will randomly fall into sleep mode and requires a reboot to come back up. I believe kmod-e1000e from ELRepo fixes this, or perhaps compiling from the latest Intel source (1.9.5).

I would post links to my sources, but I cant post links yet :/

We've been using the 1.9.5 source from Intel. Glad--I guess that is the wrong word, maybe "relieved"--that we are not the only ones with the problem Wink
