Hello,

RHEL6 will be released soon and I see that the first development release of RHEL6 based OpenVZ kernel is out:

wiki.openvz.org/Download/kernel/rhel6/042test001.1

I have some questions about this in my mind like:

- I assume OpenVZ will use the new cgroups feature in RHEL6?
- Patch size went from 18MB down to 4MB, is it mainly because of cgroups or is there much else already in the mainline?
- What are the benefits of the other new features mentioned like vswap, nfs/autofs migration, new dcache accounting and journalled quota?
- How much longer after RHEL6 release we will see a stable RHEL6 based OpenVZ release, like 3, 6 or 12 months?

I'm not a kernel developer so reading the devel-mailinglist does not make much sense to me. For example a blog post from some of the developers about this subject would be very interesting.

Thanks!

-Lupu
