Hi,

If we set noatime on the /vz mount on the hostnode, is it still necessary to set noatime in each VE?

Hi,

what do you mean?
Are you talking about VEs being mounted to /vz/root/$VEID?
But vzctl mounts VEs so you don't have to do anything.

After a quick look at kernel sources the answer is yes, this should be sufficient.
