Ok,

Imagine that there are no templates, predefined or custom made.

How did the first person create a template?

I presume it is a case of installing a Linux environment with the features required onto a physical hardware device, or inside a Xen or VMWare environment for example, then running the Physical to Container documentation to crate an OpenVZ VE?

You need a second box to be able to install a VE?

Cheers
Simon

mmm openvz include a first template, in case dont have it, you need to download it, and use it.

but i think you can create one, using the MAIN server , openvz is installed, instructions to create template is on the wiki.
