vzmigrate fails when vncserver is started inside VE [message #30289]

Hello,

I'm doing some experiments with openVZ live migration. When I want to live migrate my VE, everything works fine until I have a vncserver started inside the VE... even when I'm not logged in to that vncserver with some vncviewer, migration fails.

I'm using kernel 2.6.24-openvz-24-004-1d1-686.
The output from the vzmigrate -v --online command is listed below:

Anyone has any idea what could be the cause of this problem? Or is it a bug?

If some application fails to undump, then it's most likely a BUG. Please, fill in a BUG in http://bugzilla.openvz.org

It will let you and us to track the sate of the problem easier.

I already filled in a bug report.
I hope this bug can be solved in the next version, I really believe in openVZ as a virtualization technology. Thanks !
