I have a VE running an email server Exim (as a spam filter) and I'm getting a failcnt on numothersock. Trying to figure out what is causing that. I have clamav installed but it's set to use TCP. No UDP service on this VE at all.

probable unix domain socket. check netstat for activity on domain sockets.
