I use Gentoo OpenVZ kernel: sys-kernel/openvz-sources-
Vzctl: 3.0.22
sysctl config is ok, double checked.

i have two network interfaces:
Private: eth0 (
Pubic: eth1 (

I set VPS and set private ip to VPS and vps had nice connection to internet
and everything. then i try to give public ip to VPS and then
vps could ping default gateway, but all other internet could not
be accessed.

Here is route output on main host:
Kernel IP routing table
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use
Iface * UH 0 0 0
venet0 * UH 0 0 0
venet0 * U 1 0 0 eth0 * U 0 0 0 eth1
loopback * U 0 0 0 lo
default kerber.nevron.s UG 0 0 0 eth1
default UG 1 0 0 eth0

it is wired that VPS client have gateway set to: by default

but even if i change to real one, no diffrence.

Do anyone have any idea, i would be very happy!

Thank you,

Everybody have fun!!!
