I have two hardware nodes...

I have setup some vps servers...

vps101, and vps201

vps101 shows the swap as follows:
Swap: 2031608k total, 47336k used, 1984272k free, 1894840k cached

vps201 shows the swap as follows:
Swap: 0k total, 0k used, 0k free, 0k cached

Why is this and is this a problem?

Thanks.

Hi,

top gets these numbers from /proc/meminfo file. This file in VE may display different numbers depending on VE settings (read vzctl man page about meminfo for more information). Compare ${VEID}.conf files of VEs in question. I guess MEMINFO parameter in these files has different values.

HTH,
Vasily
