$ git fetch openvz
Fetching refs/heads/master from
http://git.openvz.org/pub/linux-2.6.18-openvz using http
....

error: Unable to find ad8280e629baca0cbcaa03acfd207c0698c1c9ac under
http://git.openvz.org/pub/linux-2.6.18-openvz/
Cannot obtain needed tree ad8280e629baca0cbcaa03acfd207c0698c1c9ac
while processing commit 9cf6fa8edf19d72eaf78b8fb246595da2cd3f01e.

It's my local problems or anyone can reproduce this?

Some users experience this from time to time... :/
AFAIU this is somehow related to incompatibilities of git versions, but maybe I'm wrong.
Anyway please try latest git version.

Pavel will setup today git daemon to provide access via git native protocol
which works at least on kernel.org fine (with http there were similar problems also).

Konstantin,

I tried it multiple times and sometimes it works, sometimes it fails as
you described :/

We setup git daemon, so you can use git:// protocol.
Unlike http, it is more stable.
