I wonder if and when Open Virtuozzo will be available for Windows platforms.

The project would then greatly widespread in research and commercials environments.

I would make Kir's comment to be more correct:
Virtuozzo for Windows is available from SWsoft in commercial variant only.
Virtuozzo for Windows provides the similar APIs/commands as OpenVirtuozzo/Virtuozzo for Linux.
