Hi Support

We have installed solusvm on a dedicated and have hosted 11 VPS on it using openvz visualization.

The dedicated server configuration is as follows

32GB RAM (64GB SWAP)
16 core (Processor: Intel Quadcore E5420)

We have allocated only 18GB RAM for all the VPS on the node. However, when we checked on the server the memory is almost full. We havent allocated any burstible RAM

# free -m
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 32112 31508 603 0 1029 26339
-/+ buffers/cache: 4139 27972
Swap: 65538 0 65538

VPSID and allocated RAM are as follows
101 2GB
102 1GB
103 1GB
104 1GB
105 2GB
106 1GB
107 1GB
108 1GB
109 2GB
110 4GB
111 2GB

Could anyone tell us why is it so ? I have contacted solusvm support but couldn't get a proper answer

Hm. It seems like linux is eating your ram!

If it's any consolation, it happens to everybody.
