Well after posting on 6 forums so far with no answers and my hosting company goDaddy leaving me to fend for myself I am really down and hope that someone can offer just the slightest bit of giudance.
Win03 server
Virtuozzo VPS
goDaddy
logging onto server via Win XP's remote desktop (by IP)
-tried to install McAfee VirusScan 8.0i- could not contact filter driver
-tried to install PerfectDisk 7- cannot communicate with PDengine
-tried to install Alcohol120, installation error
-tried to install DAEMON tools- setup required reboot but on restart install would not complete.
CAN SOMEONE PLEEEASE ADVISE THE NATURE OF INSTALLS ON VPS AND what is going on here?
