Latest update I had received beginning of 2024 from the people at Virtuozzo.

Regarding OpenVZ:

1. OpenVZ is based on our own rebuild from RHEL7 and Red Hat is going to support RHEL7 till July 2028 https://www.redhat.com/en/blog/announcing-4-years-extended-l ife-cycle-support-els-red-hat-enterprise-linux-7 As we are going to support VHS7 longer, we will also support current OpenVZ 7 longer.

2. Next version of OpenVZ as well as VHS will be based on RHEL9. We are still working hard to make private beta happen in Q1 and GA in Q2 including OnApp UI.

Looks like Virtuozzo has recently gone to VHS 9.0, but I'm not seeing any recent OpenVZ updates to their OpenVZ 9 iso download, last updates I see to these files are from 2023. With that said, being VHS 9.0 is out hopefully we'll start seeing OpenVZ9 in the near future.

Hope this is helpful.
