I really appreciate everyone's feedback here. It sounds like others have found and are using the same "fix", rolling back vcmmd to the package from the previous release.

Hoping we get an official fix soon, so I can finish updating my production machines. I'll keep an eye on those bug tickets.

Numington, did you get your issue figured out? These errors are the same I was seeing when running the newer VCCMD, and were fixed when I rolled back:

2024-01-27 16:20:11 ERROR vcmmd.host: <snipped>.net: Memory cgroup vstorage.slice does not exist
2024-01-27 16:20:11 ERROR vcmmd.ldmgr: Failed to load policy "density": Policy not found

So even though your vcmmd version shows the older version, I suspect something from the newer version is still in place somehow.
