Dear fvafva,

usually containers have only one network interface, so net.ipv4.ip_forward=1 is not required for them.
It can be useful if container have severl interfaces, openvpn tunnel for example.

Such setting in containers are inherited from host,
and can be adjusted via /etc/sysctl.conf inside guest.

in my new centos6 containers this systl is set to 0,
because /etc/sysctl.conf in Os template overrides the setting inherited from host.
