Yep, you are quite right: that OpenVZ wiki applies to OpenVZ 6, i've made a note at the top of the page.

And "--host_ifname" in the "prlctl set" description also seems as some leftover, i've filed a bug to correct this:
https://bugs.openvz.org/browse/OVZ-6794
