Hi guys,
It's a long time I'm using OpenVZ, but with the "old" technologies.
Today I'm setting up virtualized environment wich is running on an high performance cluster.
I would like to know if it's possible to specify for a VE to use a block device directly (like and iSCSI device) and how ?
I don't want all my VEs to be running on the same block device and I don't want to mount the block device somewhere and create some file inside it's mount path for Ploop.
As a workaround I've done this, a mount & a umount script that is started when the VE starts
cat /etc/vz/conf/216.mount
#!/bin/bash
mount -n /dev/sdc /vz/root/${VEID}/
But maybe there is a built-in functionality to do this ? And of course I need it to have best performance(and functionalities) as possible.
Thanks !
