I just tried compact / balloon discard which do not help.
[root@localhost ~]# vzctl set 101 --diskspace 20G --save
dumpe2fs 1.41.12 (17-May-2010)
Changing balloon size old_size=204013043712 new_size=193275625472
Successfully truncated balloon from 204013043712 to 193275625472 bytes
CT configuration saved to /etc/vz/conf/101.conf
[root@localhost ~]# vzctl compact 101
Trying to find free extents bigger than 0 bytes
