I was going through the tests on http ://wiki.centos.org/TipsAndTricks/BrokenVserver#head-bf758229 f34d795cfd2b806bfce27df3131e5e63 (The url has a space in the middle because of the url restriction on me till I post 10 messages), trying the sudo rpm -Va command. Here is part of the output:
[ahmed@amayem ~]$ sudo rpm -Va
missing /etc/init/control-alt-delete.conf
missing /etc/init/plymouth-shutdown.conf
missing /etc/init/prefdm.conf
missing /etc/init/quit-plymouth.conf

missing /etc/init/rcS-sulogin.conf
S.5....T. /etc/init/rcS.conf
missing /etc/init/serial.conf
missing /etc/init/start-ttys.conf
missing /etc/init/tty.conf
I checked with my vendor and they said they just provide the OS as is. So is this an OpenVZ thing to make the container work?
Thanks.
