Hi experts,

I am using OpenVZ server for virtualization, now today morning i wont able to start its service or nor even restart it. So i checked some of files in that. After that i come to know that i wont able to see its venet0 card in ifconfig. The Result of ifconfig is :

eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr C8:60:00:70:10:33
inet addr:10.0.0.xxx Bcast:10.0.0.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
inet6 addr: fe80::ca60:ff:fe70:1033/64 Scope:Link
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:7306 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:3464 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
RX bytes:710202 (693.5 KiB) TX bytes:1514562 (1.4 MiB)
Interrupt:58 Base address:0x4000

lo Link encap:Local Loopback
inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0
inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host
UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1
RX packets:322 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:322 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:0
RX bytes:43621 (42.5 KiB) TX bytes:43621 (42.5 KiB)

So i restart the network service, but in that i am getting the error :

[root@localhost network-scripts]# /etc/init.d/network restart
Shutting down loopback interface: [ OK ]
Bringing up loopback interface: [ OK ]
Bringing up interface Auto_eth0: RTNETLINK answers: File exists
[ OK ]
Bringing up interface venet0: Device venet0 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization.
[FAILED]

So the please help me to solve this problem, i have searched a lot but dont get any solution. I am using centos 6, the details for it is : [root@localhost network-scripts]# uname -r
2.6.32-279.9.1.el6.x86_64

Also my iptables are stop. /etc/init.d/iptables status
iptables: Firewall is not running.

Please help me out so that i can start my server. Please

Thanks
