after 2 days struggling, strace vi
it seems it has some segfault problem on /etc/termcap and /lib/libtermcap.so.2.0.8

We copied the /lib/libtermcap.so.2.0.8 from original backup to the same location, vi works again, and login problem disappear.

We guess it relates to prelink process, not sure. As the file /lib/libtermcap.so.2.0.8 is different to the backup one.

Regards
George
