Hello

I carried out a Plesk install within the Debian OpenVZ template yesterday. I carried this out twice as first time round I hadn't quite given the VPS enough resources (though the installation succeeded).

Second time round I increased /proc/user_beancounters and detoggled some of the Plesk components, in particular the VPN and firewall modules and the installation succeeded without error.

Do you need the Plesk VPN and firewall modules? For the firewall module to work I think you will need iptables installed into your VPS.

My Plesk8/OpenVZ/Debian-3.1 demo can be found here:

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. I will toggle VPN and firewall modules off and see what happens.
