Hi,

please post your OpenVZ kernel version and vzctl package:

% cat /proc/vz/version
% vzctl --version

as mentioned on the OpenVZ wiki:
---8<...
* 2.6.27 briullov.1 or later
---8<...

and vzctl 3.0.24 (the feature ppp patched are included)

a ppp(d) should work
