The last version of stable kernel is based on rhel5 2.6.18. It's a quite old version but it have backported actual drivers and some bugfixes.

Thx, i already read that related thread. Unfortunately it ended before coming to the point: Does this "old" but stable RHEL5 Kernel work with current distros, are there any experiences?

And is the FZA Kernel the stable "debian" version of this mentioned RHEL5 Kernel wich will be security maintained?

As others, i really like OpenVZ even compared to XEN, KVM. I think that the OpenVZ Technology has its key Features which make it in several cases much more useful than XEN, KVM. But unfortunately it is a No-Go in production-use if we couldn't find the current security maintained stable Kernel for debian based Distros.
