Hi

Just wondering whether it is possible to split up and show separate traffic figures for national, and international traffic?

This would involve some sort of geoIP data (such as that from maxmind) to detect local/national traffic as one figure, and the rest as international traffic?

Could something like this be achieved using OpenVZ? Or some other application placed on the node, e.g. iptables?

I've had a look at this page, http://wiki.openvz.org/Traffic_accounting_with_iptables and it seems good, however not sure whether this can be extended to splitting up national and international data..

National bandwidth here is basically free, but for international traffic, it is very expensive, so we'd like to split up the traffic and bill separately for over-usage of international traffic once a VPS has gone past its allocated amount.

Any suggestions?

Thanks! Smile
