Hi all,
Sorry if this is better submitted as a bug, just it doesn't seem to be in openvz itself ...
I have a Debian 4.0 server that has been running fine for almost a year. In the last few weeks it has been crashing once or twice a week. Most recent error in /var/log/messages is:
kernel: 00000003
kernel: Modules linked in: simfs vznetdev vzethdev vzrst ip_nat vzcpt ip_conntrack nfnetlink vzdquota vzmon vzdev xt_length ipt_ttl xt_tcpmss ipt_TCPMSS iptable_mangle iptable_filter xt_multiport xt_

kernel: EIP: 0060:[<00000003>] Not tainted VLI
kernel: EFLAGS: 00210246 (2.6.18-openvz-686 #1)
kernel: [<c014cb90>] put_compound_page+0x25/0x26
kernel: [<c0182453>] splice_to_pipe+0x1df/0x1ed
kernel: [<c0182fe3>] sys_vmsplice+0x236/0x25f
The kernel I'm using is 2.6.18-openvz-686
I've upgrading to the latest 2.6.x kernel available via apt: openvz-24-004.1d3-686, but this panics at boot with:
"not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt"
Any thoughts please? None of these error messages really point me towards what the problem might be
