This is a very nice and practical article but I do get stuck on one of the script:

read vps operation ip

What is that supposed to do? I ran it on my Hardware Node and returns nothing. Can you explain what that command is doing?

vps, operation , and ip doesn't seems to be system variables. Once I get this solved, I think it will worked out alright.
