Из разряда первых нюансов.
Компиляция (в данном случае courier-authlib, не уверен, что это имеет значение, надо попробовать другие) отваливается с ошибкой:

config.status: executing depfiles commands
touch: setting times of `dummy': Bad address
make[3]: *** [dummy] Error 1
make[2]: *** [all] Error 2
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2

По strace все сводится к сисколу utimensat:

[pid 13810] utimensat(0, NULL, NULL, 0) = -1 EFAULT (Bad address)
