I have a centos 5 server with 3 nics all with different subnets. I am having trouble with one of the interfaces routing packets for one VE. The VE's on eth0 work fine. The problem is with VE 207 with address of 192.168.1.5 trying to ping or connect through eth2 to 192.168.1.1.
Here's my setup.
eth0 = 10.214.0.0/24 DMZ with 3 VE's running with traditional venet0 running (setup through /etc/vz/vz.conf)
eth1 = 10.217.0.0/24 internal lan interface that i would like misc traffic from the server to go through (only interface with default gateway set)
eth2 = 192.168.1.0/24 other interface that i would like to route traffic from one specific VE through (do not need or want to setup a veth interface)
I've attached the following files for help with troubleshooting.
* iptables
* routes
* vzlist
* netfilter output
* ip rule list
I would like all misc traffic to go through eth1 (internal lan)
I have tried MANY times to follow the wiki page on Source Based Routing with no luck. I've also tried several threads on the different forums also with no luck. I know this should work and am just doing something simple wrong. Could someone please help. Please let me know if you need any more information. Thankx
