You really have given very little details. What host node distro are you using? What kernel version? What methods have you tried when migrating? What errors have you gotten from your failed attempts? We could make some assumptions about your environment but real details would be much more helpful. I'm assuming you can create normal OpenVZ containers on your OpenVZ host node?

An alternative would be to create a new container on the OpenVZ host node, install all of the same software as on the source machine... and then rsync the app data and configs. That should be fairly painless although more work than a simple migration or complete rsync of the container's private directory.

There are some filesystem differences between Virtuozzo and OpenVZ. I've not used Virtuozzo myself so I really don't have an environment that would allow me to try a few things myself. I do recall running into a webpage or two somewhere that had a recipe so you might google it.
