I had the same problem. Somehow iptables got configured on.

If you want to run with a firewall, be sure the settings didn't change for you. If you don't:

chkconfig iptables off
/etc/init.d/iptables stop

and maybe

chkconfig ip6tables off
/etc/init.d/ip6tables stop
