I got it. I should ask my Hosting Service to rebuild and install a new version of the *ovz* kernel, right? But then, if I cannot update the kernel on my own, I shouldn't even think of upgrading from FC_N to FC_N+1 via yum (a larger feat). Lacking any background, I am confused, as http://forum.openvz.org/index.php?t=tree&th=1970 seemed to indicate that such an upgrade is, at least in principle, possible.
