I did comment out the line in the my.cnf
## bind-address=127.0.0.1

But now I become the error:

[email]root@server6[/email]:/# telnet 192.168.1.2 3306
Trying 192.168.1.2...
Connected to 192.168.1.2.
Escape character is '^]'.
DHost '192.168.1.1' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL serverConnection closed by foreign host.
