Перидичеки происходит такое:
В консоль выплёвывается

Message from syslogd@xxx at Fri Feb 3 03:33:55 2006 ...
xxx kernel: Assertion failure in __journal_drop_transaction() at fs/jbd/checkpoint.c:615: "transaction->t_forget == NULL"

load average при этом вырастает до ~200-800 и всё висит.
Помогает только хардварный ребут.
