As I understand from the console output you attached, Plesk installer expiriences some problems when starting/stopping some services:

During the stop found some problems(see log file: /tmp/psa-qmail_1.03_centos4.2.build81061129.22_installing.log)
...
Trying to unregister service sendmail... Shutting down sendmail: [FAILED]
Shutting down sm-client: [FAILED]

Trying to start Qmail services...
ERROR while trying to start Qmail services
Check the error reason(see log file: /tmp/psa-qmail_1.03_centos4.2.build81061129.22_installing.log), fix and try again
...
The most easiest service from above is sendmail, so, please inform us, can you smoothly start/stop sendmail service?
