I was able to run some X Window applications (even xscreensaver Smile

) from inside a VPS using vnc. I remember nothing special.

As for x86_64, you'd better off using yum from inside a VPS to install all the required stuff.

PS if you will succeed, it would be great if you provide a short HOWTO so we will post it to the appropriate place.
