I am new to linux and need help to get the kernel include files from the host or somewhere on the net?

I hired a VPS linux server and need the kernel sources to compile VMWare workstation in this build.

My build is:
derckie:/# uname -r
2.6.9-023stab033.9-enterprise

Hmmm... Strange, I can't see this version (023stab033.9) in OpenVZ stable archive. I guess you're using Viruozzo, not OpenVZ, am I right?

it's impossible to run VMware inside VPS.

Yes, I think my hoster is using Virtuozzo.. I can't find the header files on the Virtuozzo site either...

they are exactly the same as for OVZ. However, they are not given directly to VE owners specifically for this purpose: prevent people from building kernel-related functionality which won't work anyway from inside VE.
