Hi guys, I am new to openVZ and have run into a snag. I'm running gentoo with the newest kernel, when i try and create a new VPS i get :

localhost / # vzctl --verbose create 103 --ostemplate gentoo-20060317-i686-stage3

VE private area was created



i'm not really sure whats going on...any one help?

Do you have simfs (i.e. CONFIG_SIM_FS=m in kernel .config) enabled?
If no, enable it and recompile the kernel. If yes, check that simfs module is loaded (cat /proc/filesystems | grep sim), and that simfs is listed in /proc/filesystems.
